"Satan has asked to sift you as wheat." is a rather unusual quote to find in scripture. Notice though, Yeshua (Jesus) didn't say 'he cannot touch you', or 'you're under grace now, so I'll make you exempt'. Rather He said, "But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail...". Meaning, Peter had to go through the sifting, so that his own faith could be tested.
In this powerful teaching Pastor Mornay explains the connection between Peter's sifting and Job's testing. And also draws the parallel between the church's testing; to become the overcomers spoken of in the book of Revelation (NOTE: it mentions seven times in the book of Revelation 'to him who overcomes'. If it is mentioned, then surely something must be overcome).
If there is one message EVERY believer should have in their media library, this is it!!!!
